The illusion of choice is a great idea here, I think it could be cool to maybe even add a couple more options that also end up leading the player back to the same place, just so that there's more of the "trapped" feeling that other people mentioned.
Short and sweet. Love the background, really appreciate the feeling of "entrapment" that the game has given you with only 1 correct option and other options looping into themselves over and over again.
Being in an enclosed space makes it really easy to visualize the scene, even if you can't actually see where you are. That being said, the background image fits well and helps develop the atmosphere.
The design of the home page catches people's eyes, the story reminds me some type of text game I played in Flash where you always fight with monsters. really nice experience playing this!
The art and font make the game so much more engaging! It's interesting how a static image changes the feeling of a game so much when compared to text on a black background.
Agree with this, its like the player is panicking and doesnt know what to do and is frantically going back and forth trying to find a solution. I also really liked the "checkpoint" mechanic allowing us to redo our choices.
I like the game, I was scared at first because I saw it has zombie, but i didn’t saw. I think if it has music it will be better! I really like the ending, and I can see different ending if I choose differently.
i like that the player feels more like prey than a powerful force or a predator like we see in a lot of zombie games!! gives it a creepier touch by focusing more on survival rather than epic kills.
Had a lot of fun trying to outmaneuver the zombies! I wonder what inspired you to go for a horror-escape theme. I like how hiding creates this infinite loop where you're safe, but you never reach a concrete ending. That can be a statement on life, I think.
The different choices the player has definitely does make outmaneuvering zombies interesting, and adds to how each choice that you take matters. While in the apartment room, I definitely was doing the best I could to search for weapons to help me survive.
After reading other people’s comments I am now seeing that I have missed some things haha. I will say I think I can beat a zombie in a fight if it is fictional and in a video game. Overall great work! I wonder what it would look like if there were some sounds when we go to listen for zombies.
The progression is really cool! It might be cool to add some sort of indicator of what items the player has? (I may or may not have forgotten that I had a key and a knife lol)
I like that it reloads you from your last checkpoint when you die. Took a few deaths before I made it to the safe house lol. Were the checkpoints coded to send you back to the previous scene if you died?
Yeah the checkpoints were very convient. I made it to the safe house on my first attempt but on a repeat playthrough to see all the different options, it helped with not needing to restart from the beginning multiple times over.
I really like how many options there are to survive. I died but came back so that was really cool because I really thought I could defeat the zombies haha

I think it's really cool that a lot of the choices lead back to the same spot. I think it emulates the "trapped" feeling well.

Definitely! Also a nice contrast to Lucy's game, which also involves zombies (although we focus more on the metaphysical aspect there)
